We were so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. He was one of the first persons we met when we moved to Illiopolis. Over the years, it would be impossible to say how many packages of cookies he gave to the boys. He was a good neighbor and will be missed.
So sorry to hear of Joe's passing. He was a very nice man. I have enjoyed visiting with him all these years while cutting his hair! He will be missed much!
To whomever is reading this I would like to say that Harry Ward (deceased 10/19/2010) and I enjoyed many good times with him and Julie and him and Carla. Harry played golf with Cookie for years and my girls remember him coming by to visit and giving them a pack of cookies.My condolences to his family and may God comfort you in the days to come. Joe Norton was a outstanding employee for Wackenhut Corporation/G4S Secure Solutions, USA. Joe was a Captain and Site Supervisor for Garrett Aviation/Standard Aero. I was a Senior Area Supervisor from Jan 2007-August 2010 and was one of Joe's Supervisors. It was a pleasure to have known him. He was a tireless employee and dedicated his time to make sure the Site was covered with adequate Security Officer Coverage. I will miss him.
