William K. Osborne's Obituary
Forsyth – William K. “Bill” Osborne, 84, of Forsyth, passed away Friday, December 1, 2017, at Hickory Point Christian Village.
Bill was born November 3, 1933, in Decatur, the son of Clyde and Mena (Reubert) Osborne. A member of First Lutheran Church, he worked at Superior Welding and was a Navy veteran. Bill married Mary Jane Banfield December 27, 1953, in Decatur, and she preceded him in death August 19, 2016.
Surviving are his children: Dr. Larry (Nancy) Osborne of Forsyth and Carol (Tom) Rose of O’Fallon, MO; grandchildren: Ryan (Mary) Rose, Lindsay (Shawn) Colbert, Brittany (Tamron) Fernandez, Samuel Osborne and MacKenzie Osborne; great grandchildren: Hayden, Carter, Gracie, Ashlynn and Clark; sister, Suzanne Ambler of Savoy; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brothers: Charles and Robert and sisters: Martha, Ruth and Patricia.
Visitation will be 10 to 11 AM Saturday, December 16, 2017, at First Lutheran Church, Decatur. Memorial services to celebrate his life will be 11 am, Saturday, December 16, 2017, in the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church, Decatur.
