Wilma C. Ball's Obituary
Wilma C Ball, 88, of Decatur, passed away Monday, October 14, 2013 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Wilma was born July 30, 1925 in Mt. Pulaski, the daughter of Fred C. and Alma C (Danner) Horn. She was an avid golfer and bowler and a loyal and active member of the Royal Order of the Moose. She worked for many years at G.E. before retiring. She married Robert “Bob” Ball in October of 1975 and he preceded her in death on January 23, 2013.
She leaves behind her daughter, Carolyn Pumphrey and her husband Toby of Decatur; son, Darrell Watkins and his wife Sue of Decatur; stepson, Mike Ball and his wife Linda; nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and two sisters.
Services to celebrate Wilma’s life will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2013 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home; visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Entombment will be in the Mary Queen of Angels Mausoleum at Graceland Cemetery.
