Decatur-Wilma Winslow Foster, 101, of Decatur, passed away at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2010 in her home with her family by her side.

Wilma was born September 17, 1908 in Donovan, Illinois, the daughter of Arthur and Nettie (Lee) Winslow. She graduated from Donovan High School and attended Illinois State University. She taught first through eighth grade in a one room school by Donovan. Later in life, she worked for the United States Post Office as a clerk in Donovan. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Monticello. She married John Robert Foster August 10, 1938 in Wellston, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death January 19, 1971.
She leaves behind her sons; Frank Foster and wife Linda of Tallahassee, Florida and Jim Foster and wife Gail of Decatur, two daughters; Judy Trippiedi and husband Larry of Monticello and Sara Holbrook and husband David of Seminole, Florida, nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two sisters; Opal Winslow and Edith Winslow Learned.
