Wilma "Darlene" Spangler's Obituary
Decatur-Wilma “Darlene” Spangler, 82, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Darlene was born October 2, 1934 in Bethany, Illinois, the daughter of John and Edna (Cunningham) Marshall. She was a homemaker and member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Darlene leaves behind her children Becky Frazier, Andy (Sandra) Taylor, and Ted (Collette) Taylor, grandchildren Claire, Kyle, and Charles, and brothers Gene, Gale, and Bob Marshall.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents and sister Eileen Marshall.
Services to celebrate Darlene’s life will be 1:30 PM Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:30-1:30 PM prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Decatur Firehouse #3, 1308 W Eldorado St. Decatur, IL 62522 or Cancer Care Specialists of Central Illinois, 510 W. McKinley Ave. Decatur, IL 62526.
