Wilma M. Ticknor's Obituary
Decatur-Wilma M. Ticknor, 77, of Decatur, passed away at 1:20 a.m. Wednesday, September 07, 2011 at Heritage Manor in Mt. Zion with her family by her side.
Per her wishes no services are planned. Cremation will take place at Graceland/Fairlawn Crematory.
Wilma was born June 24, 1934, in Decatur, the daughter of Richard and Iva (Sparks) Hettinger. She was previously employed with G.E. and Krogers. Wilma was a great cook and enjoyed sewing. She married Robert L. Ticknor August 24, 1952 in Decatur.
She leaves behind Robert, her beloved husband of over fifty-nine years, son, Robert A. Ticknor of Lovington, Iva Christine Cullen of Springfield, brother, Richard Hettinger and wife Patricia of Ft. Myers, Florida, sister, Iva Barbara Jean Phillipich and husband John of Springfield, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren with one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
