Winifred Lowe – Ray's Obituary
Maroa ' Winifred P. Lowe-Ray, 86 of Maroa passed away at 4:50 am Sunday November 20, 2011 in Decatur memorial Hospital.
Winifred was born on August 12, 1925 in Decatur the daughter of John Edward and Mildred Faye (Walker) Doolin. She worked as a LPN for many years. She married Richard Ray on September 18, 1982 in Las Vegas, NV.
Surviving are her husband, Richard; sons, Mike Lowe (Joann) of Decatur; Mitchell Lowe (Carol) of Decatur; daughter, Deborah Lowe of Hammond; step-son, Steven Ray of Mahalla, OR; brother, Lonnie Doolin (Nova) of Oklahoma City, OK; six grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and five step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sons, Melvin, James Allen, and an infant, one step-son, Gary Dean Ray, two sisters, Delores Puckett and Betty Finkey, brother, Gary Doolin, son-in-law, Patrick Dulaney, and one step-grandchild.
The family would like to thank Dr. Atluri, Haborlights, White Star Help at Home and DMH 4100 for all their excellent care.
Honoring Winifred's wishes she will be cremated at Graceland/Fairlawn Crematory and a service will be held at a later date at Graceland Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to DMH Hospice.
