Yuba D. Wilson's Obituary
Georgia – Yuba D. Wilson, 92, of St. Simons Island, GA, formerly of Decatur, IL, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018.
Yuba was born September 5, 1925, in Clinton, IL, the daughter of Owen and Myrtle (Ridner) Enos. She worked at Borg Warner, Sears, Burroughs and the Decatur Public Schools. Her hobbies included gardening, with a special love of roses, and reading. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and loved cheering for them. Mostly she loved time spent with her daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and her many friends.
Preceding her in death were her husbands, Robert Hashu and Robert Wilson, her parents, her brother Owen Enos Jr. and her sister Christina Neher. Surviving her are daughters: Cris (Ray) Bass of Tempe, AZ, Candi (John) Allison of St. Simons, GA, Cathy (John) Doumakes of Buda, TX, and step-daughter Pam (Jack) Kuchera of Yuma, AZ; nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and other relatives.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM immediately followed by the service in the Star of Hope Chapel at Graceland Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Entombment will follow in the Star of Hope Mausoleum at Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
