Carolyn Patricia “Pat” Nanna, 74, of Decatur, passed away April 9, 2018 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis with her family by her side.

Pat was born August 22, 1943 in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of Shelby T. and Rose “Pauline” (Stolte) Nanna. She worked for the Macon County Circuit Clerk retiring after fifty years of service and was a licensed beautician. Pat attended GT Church and enjoyed her Bunko Group and bowling.

Pat is survived by her sister Linda (Les) Donaldson and a host of loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and friends.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, infant brother Shelby L. Nanna, and two sisters Janice Nanna and Sandra Spears.

Services to celebrate Pat’s life will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the wishes of the family in care of Linda Donaldson.

  1. I remember Pat. Her parents and mine were good friends back in the late 50s and 60s. I believe her father was a precinct committeman. Pat and I were in the same graduating class at MHS class of 1961. I haven't seen her since but I remember her. Please accept my condolences on her passing.
