JoAnna Logan, 78, of Forsyth, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.

JoAnna was born May 2, 1939, in Decatur, to Clarence W. and Mary Mae (Barr) Perry. She was a Computer Terminal Operator for Caterpillar for 40 years before she retired. JoAnna was a member of Promised Land Ministries Church in Warrensburg. She loved to travel and make a variety of crafts.

She is survived by her son, Paul G. Logan of Decatur; her daughter, Vicki L. (Kerwin) Grider of Weldon; five grandchildren, Alex, Ben, Mackenzie, Shelby and Dillon; and one sister, Dorothy Hyland of Decatur.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

Graveside services to celebrate the life of JoAnna Logan will be 12 noon, Saturday, October 7, 2017, in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Promised Land Ministries Church 168 E Main St, Warrensburg, IL 62573.

I remember one day during a snowstorm when we were hanging out at Jo Anna’s house she had a hair appointment that she didn’t want to miss so she loaded me, Daren and I think Randy in that green Mercury, and off we went. She said she wanted us along in case she got stuck we could push her out. Well we didn’t get stuck and she made her appointment. I laugh out loud every time I have that memory. The stuff she put up from all of us kids. I will always remember her with love. Greg Clucas
