Stonington, IL – Paula K. Borger, 53, of Stonington, passed away Monday, August 28, 2017 of cancer in her home surrounded by family.
Paula was born January 18, 1964 in Peoria, IL, the daughter of Ronald and Ramona Campbell. She worked at the Village Pantry in Stonington, U.S. Post Office in Stonington, and Subway in Rochester before retiring.
Paula is survived by her children: Heather Lassard of Stonington, Kairi Lassard of Minneapolis, MN, and Caleb Hoskins of Robinson; grandson, Connor Dudra of Stonington; mother, Ramona Campbell of Stonington; sisters: Marian (Mark) Morstatter and Suzanne (Pat) Pippin of Decatur; brother, Randal (Carrie) Campbell of Abingdon; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends; ex-husbands: Khris Lassard of Minneapolis, Jeff Hoskins of Rockford, Gary Borger of Rockford, Larry Mathes of Taylorville, and current boyfriend, Eric Maxwell of Stonington.
Paula was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Campbell in 2015.
Honoring Paula’s wishes, cremation services will be provided by Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home and Cremation Center. The family will host a memorial service at 11:30 AM, Saturday, September 2, 2017 at First Baptist Church, Stonington. Memorial contributions may be made to the family payable to: Heather Lassard, 212 W. Wabash Ave., Stonington, IL 62567.
