John Wallace Wynne was born December 26, 1936, in Brownsville, Tennessee, to Sylvanus and Geneva Wynne. After a lengthy struggle with dementia, he found peace on January 16, 2022. He married Justina Perkins in 1961. They loved, laughed, and shared in joys and sorrows for 55 years before her passing in 2016. He was a dedicated employee of Wagner Castings Company before retiring after more than 35 years. He used the same dedication to fulfil his dream of becoming a business owner. He opened a small lawn mower repair shop and spent countless hours researching and problem-solving. Although his hands remained strong, he reluctantly retired for a second time. He is survived by his children: Harrison, Greg (Deborah), Pat (Scottie), Vanessa, and Valerie (Craig); grandchildren: Teona, D.J., Heather, Chandler, Quolette, Charles, Ariel, Aliyah, Keenah, Kayli, Amirah, Shara, and Caleb; eleven (11) great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; siblings: Doris Cunningham and Hal (Evelyn) Wynne; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, parents, and sister, Ruth Tyus. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Inurnment will be at Graceland Cemetery. The family acknowledges with sincere appreciation and thanks to relatives, co-workers, and friends for the expressions of sympathy, prayers, and other acts of kindness and concern during this time of bereavement.
