Marvin John, Rose, Lillis, Kenny, Royce, Rhonda, and Jeff, I am like all of you, in shock. I can’t wrap my mind around what happened to Alan. I didn’t know he had been under so much stress. It shows me he didn’t want to burden anyone snd kept things all bottled up inside. Although he was always smiling and joking around showing you can’t take life too serious. He had the personality that was so out going and worried about everyone else but not himself. If he knew you were down he would come by you and build you up and tell you everything is going to be alright and start joking with you. He loved his siblings, his daughter and granddaughter so very much , in fact he loved all his relatives. Alan is being missed by all he knew and cared for, there wasn’t a stranger in Alan’s life because people who came across Alan they wanted to be his friend. Whether it was at a reunion, or having a beer or just walking down the street, people were drawn to Alan. So yes he is missed already but rest assure he hasn’t shut up since he has reached heaven. In heaven all family were there to greet and welcome him home. This isn’t good bye Alan for we are on our way too. God Speed and much Love. Give my brother a big hug from his sister. Well Uncle Al where do I start ! Going to miss the talks and texts we have through the years. And every time I walk through the door I hear you yelling at me “what up country” really going to miss those days. You were full of knowledge and always willing to lend a hand no matter the circumstances, and fed me as much knowledge of the carpentry world that you could in the time we had. Heaven gained the best carpenter and most caring man I know . Love ya Unc.

Though I didn't know Al very well he has been in someway a part of my family's life.
He will always be remembered as the kind, generous and caring person he was.
