Alan Dale Berry's Obituary
Alan Dale Berry, 66, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away December 20, 2025, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Alan was born on January 23, 1959, the son of Marvin and Jacquline (Fisher) Berry. He was an accomplished carpenter who used his skills both professionally and in service to others. He generously spent his free time helping family and friends. He loved being outdoors and hunting for treasures. With a big heart, he could always be counted on to help. He cherished spending time with his family and will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
Alan is survived by his life partner Chandra Denison; daughter Jacqueline (Craig Maslowski) Berry; granddaughter Madison Raven; siblings Rose (Karl) Fehr, Marvin Berry, Kenneth (Yvetta) Berry, Lillis (Tommy) Call, Royce (Connie) Berry, Rhonda Berry, and Jeffrey (Keriann) Berry; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Teresa Berry, sister-in-law Rhonda Berry, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home is providing cremation services for Alan. Services will be held on Monday, January 5, at the funeral home. Visitation will be from 1-3pm and will be followed by a funeral service at 3pm. Memorial donations may be directed to the family.
