ARTHUR- Alberta “Bert” Bradford, 95 of Arthur, passed away peacefully at 7:15 am, on Friday, June 19, 2026, while at home, surrounded by her loving family. Graveside service to celebrate Bert’s life will be held at 2PM Tuesday, J Read Obituary
I knew Bert for a very LONG time. We were neighbors and when I started 1st grade in school at Business Knoll school, she was one of the older kids—probably in 5th or 6th grade. She was always a very kind and caring person—and quiet. I remember her working for Dr. Dixon.

Valerie and Michele your Mom was one of my favorites. She always supported me and made me feel so special. She was always so supportive of the ministries of the church and will certainly be missed. She made the best potato chip cookies, my favorite. Even using her recipe, mine never measure up to hers.
The thing I remember the most about Aunt Bert was how much she loved kids. When I was little she made everything fun. I’m glad my kids got to meet her. She was the best Aunt ever. One month from today she and Uncle Dick can have a great anniversary together. I am greatful for both of them being part of the family. She was a very kind person. RIP

Loved the way she always talked about her children and grandchildren. The chalk board in her kitchen always decorated and all the family was honored on the board when it was their birthdays. Sitting and talking with her and Dick was great. Many stories told and to see they eyes light up when family just popped in for no reason. I will miss seeing her front door open and in the evening a light in her craft room and myself knowing she was proudly being busy on someone’s scrap book. Fly high and tell Dick hi from me
