I always enjoyed Auntie Audrey's welcoming happy voice when she greeted us at her door. I especially remember the way she would get close and look me right in the eyes when she talked. She wanted to know how everything was going with me and what I was doing. Whether it was high school sports, girl friend news, college, marriage, children, job or whatever. She had an amazing way of making me happy I was at her house. One of the rituals was to have a bit to drink like a spot of tea or Coca Cola, or Sprite, orange juice, grape juice, milk, chocolate milk, iced tea and the list went on. I liked hot tea with sugar "one lump or two" she would ask. I always sneaked a third when she was not looking. The silver teapot she sometimes did the tea ritual from was like being in a fairy tale to my young eyes. I miss her dearly and pray that the good Lord will greatly comfort all her loved ones.
