Audrey Mildred Lotzgesell's Obituary
Decatur-Audrey Mildred Lotzgesell, 88, of Decatur, peacefully passed away in her sleep at 11:30 p.m. Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Lincoln Manor with her family by her side.
Services to celebrate Audrey's life will be 2 p.m. Friday, October 29, 2010 in the Chapel of Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Interment with 'Flight Home' Ceremony will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Little City in Palatine, IL. Online condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.gracelandfairlawn.com.
Audrey was born July 2, 1922 in London, England, the daughter of Charles S. and Ethel (Wright) Eidmans. She proudly served her country in the British Royal Airforce during W.W. II. She was assigned to the troop and equipment transportation division. She was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and avid gardener. She married James August Lotzgesell July 2, 1950. He preceded her in death July 5, 1986.
She leaves behind her sons; James R. and Charles R. both of Decatur and four grandchildren.
She was reunited in Heaven with her parents, husband, sister, and daughter.
