Decatur-Betty Louise Woijeck, 87, of Decatur, passed away at 3:47 a.m. Wednesday, October 05, 2011 at her home.
Graveside services to celebrate Betty's life will be 12:00 noon Saturday, October, 8, 2011 in Graceland Cemetery and conclude with the 'Flight Home' Ceremony. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
Betty was born April 11, 1924 in Decatur, the daughter of Pearl and Jessie (Leach) Bailey. She was employed with A.E. Staley Manufacturing Company. She enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family. She married Paul L. Woijeck December 12, 1943 in Decatur. He preceded her in death May 13, 2006.
She leaves behind her grandchildren, Michael Woijeck and wife Talisa of St. Louis, Missouri and Michelle Stephens and husband Niles of St. Louis, Missouri and great-grandchildren, Malia, Jenna, and Hannah and Ethan, Adeline, and Aubrey.
She was reunited in Heaven with her parents, husband, son, David Paul Woijeck, brother, Laverne Bailey, and sister, Norma Schroeder.
