Brian's first year at MacArthur, as a Junior, was also my first year, as a freshman. He was a good looking, smart, stylish guy for the "in-crowd", but he was one of the few upper classmen with class. He didn't make us freshman feel like we were scum. I always remembered that and respected him.I always enjoyed running into him, when I was in town for the Celebration, but it has been several years, since I've seen him.It's a sad day. He will be missed by many. He was truly a class act and I'm SO sorry for your loss. Shroat!
I'm sorry to hear about Brian. He was a bragger about his kids and their sports and cheerleading. He was proud to bring them lunch everyday. Every time I ran into him, he was talking about his family. I'm praying the good memories of him with comfort his family. We will all miss him.

I am so heartbroken for your loss. Brian was so kind to share some stories with me when my father (John Hickey) passed away 10-12-14. He told me how my dad's coaching had impacted him in such a positive way and that he had used those teachings in his career of leading employees. It was very helpful to hear that in my time of grieving. I just wish as you all do too that he could have stuck around a little longer. I keep thinking that Coach Hickey probably greeted him with a pair of running shoes and they're running the streets of gold in Heaven now. I am blessed to have known Brian since I was 17, in high school while I dated his brother- in – law. He was kind and positive person to me and everyone around him. Thank you Brian for those memories. You will be greatly missed and my thoughts go out to his family and friends.
