Charles Gorrell's Obituary
Charles 'Billy' Gorrell, 56, of Decatur passed away at 7:07 pm in his home Sunday, June 10, 2012.
Charles was born on May 17, 1956 in Peoria, IL, the son of Charles and Glenda (Hall) Gorrell. He was a roofer with Roofers Local #92. He married Lisa McHaney on April 11, 2008. Charles enjoyed riding his Harley, loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa; brothers, Bobby (Jackie) Gorrell of East Peoria, IL; Rickey (Dena) Gorrell of Creve Cour, IL; sisters, Diane Gorrell of East Peoria, IL; Peggy Stiscak of Las Vegas, NV; Kim (Marvin) Spiczka of Pekin, IL; Sherry (Fred) Butler of Port Charlotte, FL; a host of nieces and nephews; step-grandchildren, Jessica, Katelyn and Malachi; and many loving friends and family.
A gathering to celebrate the life of Charles will be from 5 to 7 pm Friday, June 15, 2012 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Family requests casual attire. Memorials may be directed to Northgate Pet Clinic.
