Peoria- Charles 'Rusty' Larimer, 88, of Peoria, formerly of Decatur, passed away Monday, September 24, 2012, at Rosewood Care Center in Peoria, Illinois. A service to celebrate the life of Rusty will be held at 12:00 noon on Satur Read Obituary

Rusty was such a great man, he will be missed by everyone that knew him. I have very fond memories of him and my Grandma (Margaret). Our prayers are with all of you, may God comfort and strengthen you at this difficult time.
We are so very sadden to hear of Rusty's passing. Todd and I were next door neighbors of Rusty's for 4 years and in that time we got to know him very well and cherished the times we got to spend with him. He was a great cook, especially his chili and always had a smile and a great joke to share. After a long day it was a treat to get a call from him to come over for a cocktail and shoot the breeze. Even after we moved to Champaign Rusty was always in our thoughts and he was always elated when we would stop by when in town. He will truly be missed but will always be in our hearts!
