Chuck is one of my best friends. We shared many laughs, many stories, and of course, a "few" cold beers together. Chuck enjoyed golf and always said that he was gearing up for the Senior PGA, and of course on his worst golf day….we never let him forget that.Teresa, Matt, Kathy, and especially all the grand children, cherish all the memories and God grant you the strength to understand His wisdom.
Thank you for allowing us to perform the military rites for Chuck. Every veteran deserves to be remembered for their loyal and faithful service to our country. Thank you again for this honor.

Kids, Your grandpa fought long and hard to stay with you guys but he just got too tired and was ready to go to heaven. Just know that grandpa has a new body that will never fail him. Today while driving, I was thinking of Uncle Chuck's reunion with all his family and friends in heaven when my thoughts turned to Aunt Tee when the song "Starting All Over Again" by Isreal Kamakaw (Izzy) began playing; At this time, I noticed the license plate in front of me read I M O K U R 2. This incident took place less than 24 hours after I had shared with Aunt Tee that God, over the last 7 years, has sent me numerous signs that have provided me strength and comfort at the times I needed it most. This license plate message is for you Aunt Tee and I promise it will be one of the first of many blessings. Uncle Chuck is OK and UR2.I will miss his good spirited orneriness; I will miss his sense of humor, and his classic laughing smile. Selfishly, I want him home here with his family but reality tells me he is in his heavenly home and there is no better place than that; and for that I smile and say "See ya soon Uncle Chuck. Give Michael a big kiss and hug for me as your laughing. Teresa and Family,You all have been on my mind and in my heart for the past several months. Chuck was a great fishing buddy for my Dad and I'll never forget when you guys went to Las Vegas with my Mom and Dad. Also, I remember our cruise to Hawaii when we rented the convertable and drove all over Maui and walked barefoot on the beach. I pray that all of these memories of good times bring you comfort now and forever. Teresa, Kathy, and Matt,So much love was put into your written words for him. I have many fond memories of ALL of you. Kathy, remember our bike accident on the hill in front of your house? When we were trying to ride double on a SINGLE bike seat?…good grief…I remember him scooping us up and tending to our injuries (which were minor thank goodness) – his main goal was to make us laugh, just to make sure we were ok.
