I knew Chris for many years as I worked for the BSA for 33 years. Always enjoyed seeing Chris at conferences and trainings. His sense of humor always made these activities more enjoyable. My thought and prayers to the entire family.

Dear Shel and Matthew, Peg and I were so saddened to hear of Chris’s passing. What a great man he was and a wonderful boss. He was ALWAYS making me laugh! Truly a great person, loved by everyone that ever met him. Chris was a gentle giant, an icon to Scouts, and a friend to all. Many condolences to his family. The world is better place because of him and we were lucky that you allowed us to share Chris.

I enjoyed my time mentoring Chris when he was a SE. I always left our meetings feeling better about the world then when I started. He was a kind and loving soul. Rest In Peace my friend and break a lot of clays in heaven!
