Dear Shel and Matthew, Peg and I were so saddened to hear of Chris’s passing. What a great man he was and a wonderful boss. He was ALWAYS making me laugh! He always pushed the staff for excellence and we always knew that he sincerely cared about us and the BSA. Please know your family is in our prayers. Knowing Chris made me a better person.

Truly a great person, loved by everyone that ever met him. Chris was a gentle giant, an icon to Scouts, and a friend to all. Many condolences to his family. The world is better place because of him and we were lucky that you allowed us to share Chris.

I enjoyed my time mentoring Chris when he was a SE. I always left our meetings feeling better about the world then when I started. He was a kind and loving soul. Rest In Peace my friend and break a lot of clays in heaven!
