3 ladies were praying for a friend 37 years ago and God gave them 2 each.
Sheryl, Triece and Chris.
I thought I knew Chris so well.
But through this last week with her I learned she was even more giving and loving than I knew.
The number of people she helped and loved is amazing. Over and over again I heard from her visitors "you were the only one who made me feel loved" "she helped me when no one else would"
The testimony of her faith and love of Jesus touched so many. Even those who had never met Chris were inspired by her faith through her journey.
She had constant pain for 20 years but most would never know because of her smile and joyful attitude. Even on her toughest days she would find atleast one happy thing to thank God for.
First on her thankful list was Carl, the love of her life.
Then her kids and grandkids, who gave her so much joy.
She loved her family and friends.
Chris loved my backyard where we crafted while listening to music and the waterfall
and watching nature.
She appreciated everything and shared my joy and excitement.
Chris was one of my greatest encouragers.
I will be watching for your signs my dear friend until we meet again.
Now go dance in Hallelujah Square and keep smiling.
Sheryl
