We have lost another portal into the history of our family. The last time I saw Uncle Ike he told me a story about my father that I had never heard from anyone else before. He was always there for me as I grew up without a father and he was one of the people in my life that attempted to fill part of the hole that left for me as a youngster. I never found him judgemental or condesending as some could be. He just loved all of us and truly wanted to help us with any problems we had in life. I know I will miss him very much and I am sure that anyone that knew him will miss him also. May he rest in peace knowing he was loved by many.
