Dave was one of my best friends and co-workers at Cat. We had some great times together, at work, at St. Louis and just hanging around. We bought ball gloves to play catch; he got us lost one night in a boat on Shelbyville lake. We worked on 3rd shift in building B, him in heat treat and me in machine shop. He sure loved his Buick Electra! He'd put the top down in the yellow convertible and take us to St. Louis to a ball game. Joyce and I just learned that he passed and regret that we couldn't be there for his services. Rest in peace, old friend.
I of course knew Dave at CAT. He was Caterpillar thru and thru. I don't think he ever saw a stranger. Heaven will now get a chance to share him.
Dave was a wonderful neighbor. We will all miss him
