I had the privilege and honor of working with David at Moore Susler and again at the Macon County State’s Attorney’s office. He was always a gentleman and a very thorough and passionate attorney. He taught me alot how to be a good legal secretary. Rest in Peace my friend.
I knew David since 1989. He was transparent, opinionated, passionate, honest, and devoted to family, friends and anything else he loved and believed in. I will miss him. My deepest condolences to his daughters and everyone who will miss him too.
Dear Rachel and family,Please accept our deepest sympathy on the passing of your dad. We’re thinking of you girls and sending friendship and love.Eileen and Dave LePoire
I enjoyed working with David when we were both on the Board of Directors of the SAIL (Soyland Access to Independent Living) organization about 25 years ago. I’m so sorry for your loss.
David was a gentleman and an effective representative of the McLean County State’s Attorney’s Office. A mentsch in every way.
My sincerest condolences to Dave’s family. I knew him as he was my opposing counsel on many cases. Dave fought hard but he fought fair – a zealous advocate but also a gentleman lawyer. The legal community has lost an honorable man.
To the family may God grant you peace and comfort during this time of sorrow and beyond. I had the pleasure of working with David. God bless you all.
David was as fine a man and lawyer as any I ever knew. The world is worse for his passing. To his family, I am sorry for your loss
I am sending my condolences to you all at this difficult time, I’m sure. Dave was a smart and very unique individual; I knew him when he worked at the Courthouse in Macon County; before the girls were born! (Just a few years ago, right??) Keep your many memories close to heart and at least we now know is at peace. God Bless All. Sue Hale, Decatur, IL
