I just found out about this tragedy! I am so sorry for this loss! Dawn was a very quiet but gentle soul who was kind to everyone! I will miss seeing her smile! My heart goes out to Mike and their son. God bless the family.
I knew Dawn in grade school and High school, same class. Beautiful person, inside and out! Very kind person. Sweet classmate. I think her mom was in Eagle Ridge in Decatur, as my mom and dad were.
The service this morning was very nice and paid tribute to a lovely, caring human being, a beautiful woman inside and out. My sincere and heartfelt sympathy goes out to Mike and Brian, Tari, Jody, and Lorie. I have so many fond memories of the girls when they were younger. I remember Dawn as a baby and how she liked for you to hold her hands, she’d stand on your lap and jump up and down. That energy was always there, even in adulthood. She would always call me when she had a question about the Bilyeu family or family information. I always enjoyed talking with her. The last time was shortly after Aunt Stella passed away. She will always be remembered fondly and greatly missed by all. May God’s loving arms enfold her family and bring peace and comfort knowing she is with Him and her needs have been met. She is at peace. It’s our needs that are so painful. May strength come from the Lord to endure. May God be with you.
We are so very sorry for your loss. May God Bless you and keep you as you navigate through this time. Your family is in our prayers.

I was privileged to work side-by-side with Dawn at Tate and Lyle in the export department for two years. She was truly a mentor to me and a friend. She was a proud wife and mother and spoke often of Mike and Brian. She was a dedicated worker and a very kind and gentle soul. I am so sorry for your loss. Her light has left this world too soon. She will be missed by many. Sending my prayers to her entire family. Kathy Arnold
I've known her and Mike since high school and she was a wonderful lady. Joe Allen
Dawn was a very sweet and caring young lady in high school. Reserve, however, a very friendly person. She will be missed.
Our hearts go out to you Mike and Brian. We can not begin to imagine the loss you are feeling. As I was reflecting on Dawn I remembered her great smile and kind demeanor. I also thought of the many weekends that we spent together at the boat dock in the past. All the laughs, crazy stunts, and the late nights with the boats tied up in the dam basin listening to music and talking. I hope some of the special memories help to give you strength in the upcoming days. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers and we are here and just a phone call away.
