I met Del in 1966 when I went to work for Mississippi Valley. I quickly learned he was a fine gentleman, very knowledgeable, helpful, good worker, and friend in every way. Treasure your memories.of him. I will.I regret I was not at his services to pay my respects. I had been out of town and am still catching up on things and just learned of Del's passing. Dear Nancy and family,My deepest sympathies to each of you. I have such fond memories of going to Delvin's and Nancy's from the very first time I was very young. Family reunions were always such a highlight for my Mom, Miriam, and me. I even remember going to Aunt Martha's when the family would get together when Mildred lived on the hill. When Dad was living he always wanted the family to stay close and we would make the trip to Atlanta. Time changes things. I live in Kansas and only get back to Illinois every year or two. I will treasure our family memories always. I spoke with my brother Bill's wife, Dona, this morning and she passed along the news.
