Don A. Perry's Obituary
Don A. Perry,79, of Decatur passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Don was born on December 25, 1937 in Lawrenceville, IL the son of Daniel and Hazel (Haskell) Perry. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army. He was an inventor of the Sensor Pad, Perry Suspenders, Proprio Balance System, and many other crazy ideas. He married Andree Teboul on May 26, 1962 in Paris, France. She preceded him in death on July 20, 2014.
Surviving are his son, Joe Perry (Elaine) of Mt. Zion; daughter, Christine Kramer (Michael) of St. Louis, MO; brothers, Clifford Perry (Betty) of Montesano, WA; Gary Perry (Lisa) of Manhatten, MT; sisters, Beverly Baum (Floyd) of Medina, OH; Brenda Marriott (Howard) of Mt. Carmel, IL; grandchildren, Hannah, Sophie, Zoe, Tessa, and Elizabeth.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers Chester, Tony, Robert, and Sherrell, and sister Patsy.
Funeral service to celebrate Don’s life will be 11 AM Saturday, April 22, 2017 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home, Visitation will be 9:30 – 11 AM Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Don A. Perry Memorial Fund for Physical Rehabilitation in care of Earthmover Credit Union.
