Don and I while freshmen students at Eisenhower got into a brief fist fight with one another. No winner, no loser, but both suspended for three days. We walked home together and stopped off at John's Hill Jr. High, saying hi to the old coach there. On that walk home that day so many years ago I saw in him special qualities. He was unique. I went to school with Don. He was a high energy kid. I hadn't crossed paths with him for many years, but fondly recall him from time to time. May he R.I.P.

We here at Book World were very sad to here of Don's passing. We loved his sense of humor and dead pan wit. I will miss seeing his silly face waiting for me to open the store. He was such a good guy and really loved those "stinky" grandkids. Our thoughts are with his family during this time. Lori
My late husband and I knew skip and Merrill for many years when they lived across the street from eskers tavern. I was driving by there house Saturday when all the police were there. So sorry that this was the result. My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family.
