Uncle Doug-Too many memories to share! I can remember hanging out with you when I was just 5 or 6 years old. And, I will remember hanging out with you many times since! Lots of laughter, teasing, and joking. I love you and miss you already! Thanks for calling and checking up on me just days before you left this earth. That was just the kind of guy you were!

If I was to share our memories it would take the rest of the day. You were so much a part of Marilyn and my life, and hers before there was a Marilyn and I. You were a unique man, tough but so loveable. Waged a valiant battle letting it slow you down some but not stopping you till Thursday. Little did I suspect our last good bye that night would be our last or I would have made sure you knew how much we loved you. Gone but never forgotten. Dick & Marilyn
