Condolences to Elwin's family on his passing. I was very sorry to hear of his death.I was a classmate of Elwin's and I also was employed at Chastain as a high school student and during the Summer while I was in college. I was already working there when Elwin joined the company. He was easy to work with. I enjoyed his company. I was privileged to be an usher at his wedding. I was hoping to see him at one of the reunions of the class of '58. I regret that I did not see him.
I offer my condolences to the family of Elwin. I already miss him.I knew Elwin only through work at ADM and was always the better for knowing him.He was always a pleasure to talk to. He always had a smile. He possessed a wealth of information and was willing to share that wealth with those around him.My prayers and thoughts are with you.
I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Elwin. I have many fond memories of Elwin that go clear back to our grade school days at Pugh School. Elwin was always so nice and pleasant and was a favorite of all of his classmates. Please accept my condolences.
I just wanted to say it was always a pleasure to work with Elwin. I feel blessed to have known him. He greeted everyone he met with a smile. Life was always "peachy." He was the kindest guy and had a big heart. I will miss him. With Sympathy, Love, and Prayers to the family – Shelley Huskey
My deepest condolences and I share the grief and pray your hurt fades and the happy memories last.
Every time we ever had the pleasure of being near Elwin, we felt blessed. He was a treasure that we would have loved to selfishly keep on earth to show us how to be better people. We both know however how much Elwin loved God and it makes us smile and cry to know happy he must be to finally be with his heavenly father. Elwin was a wonderful man and will be missed greatly. Thoughts and prayers to all who ever knew and inevitably loved Elwin Hogan. We love you Joan, Todd and Carmin. Please extend that to the rest of your family as well….God Bless.
Joanie and family…Even as our hearts are breaking for you and for ourselves, there's also a part of us that is soaring knowing that Elwin is dancing around the throne with no pain and wanting to tell us that everything is wonderful. I remember the first time we took him to Tulsa with us and he was so overwhelmed with emotion, he cried for 5 days! I know there are no tears in Heaven, but Tulsa couldn't hold a candle to what he's experiencing right now. We loved him dearly and will miss so many things about him, silly goofy things that were all Elwin, his glorious poetry that I loved so much as did so many others, and his spiritual insight that we called on often. We love you and here for you any time, anywhere, for anything.Bob and Linda
