I was servingas an election judge in Jean's precinct. We visited as I was giving Jean her ballot and forgot to have her sign her paper. I didn't realize it until she had already voted and left. In order to keep the records proper, I called Jean and asked if she could come back and sign the paper. She did. A little later we had a question about what to do in a particular situation. I looked in my recent calls to find the county clerk's # and called Jean by mistake. I reviewed the particulars of the situation, thinking that I was talking to an employee at the clerk's office, then asked what should we do. Jean replied, you should call the county clerk's office. I was so embarrassed that I had made 2 mistakes in less than an hour. Jean never made fun of me, but I believe she watched me very carefully when she voted the next election.
