Felice D'Introno's Obituary
Felice D’Introno, 81, of Decatur, IL passed away July 17, 2022 at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, IL.
Felice was born February 16, 1941 in Bari, Italy, son of Vincenzo and Maria D’Introno. He married, Antonia Cusumano on June 20, 1970 in Springfield, IL and they enjoyed 52 years of marriage together.
Felice was a chef by trade. He began his career as a pastry chef in Italy. He came to the US during 1979 and soon opened, European Pastries, Springfield, IL. He later opened Felice’s Italian Restaurant, Springfield and in 1992 opened Felice’s Italian Restaurant in Decatur, IL.
He loved gardening, flowers and herbs. He was also an avid soccer fan.
Surviving are his wife, Antonia; children, Vincent D’Introno (Monica Sin) of United Kingdom, John D’Introno (Jillian) of Pleasant Plains, IL; sisters, Ada Molinini (Michael) of Rochester, NY, Nina Perata of Miami, FL, Teresa Molinini of Milan, Italy, Rosalia D’Introno-Mazzilli of Bari, Italy; grandchildren, Johnathan D’Introno, Olivia D’Introno; sister-in-law, Anna Ribaudo (Nino) of Springfield, IL and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Steven D’Introno.
Private family memorial service will be at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home. Inurnment will take place at Graceland Cemetery.
