My heart and prayers go out to you all. Fred is an amazing person. Honest, kind and considerate of others. I will always remember our days and nights at the Macon County Light Company. Going out to Ho Joes after for breakfast, enjoying each other’s company on Lake Decatur. Those were great times. I don’t always understand God’s Plan but I believe and trust he is with us always.Peace be with you

Pamela, so very sorry for your loss. I worked with Fred at Graybar. He was amazing at the position; his depth of knowledge will be sorely missed. He always spoke of you with respect and compassion. Your children were a light in his eyes and when he spoke of the grandchildren his big bear voice would soften to notes of clear joy. He made an enormous difference in this world for the better.Our thoughts and prayers to you.
Fred was a great friend of Scouting and asset to Lincoln Trails Council. He set an out standing example to the many boys we worked with over the years. He helped many adult Scouters perform at a higher level of excellence because of the many leadership classes he taught and the other activities in which he was involved. Our thoughts and prayers are with Pam and the rest of his family.

Our hearts sank when we read of Fred’s passing. We remember him as a gentle soul and a light is lost this day. Pam, I am so sorry for your loss, I worked with Fred at Black & Co. and I remember when you dated and then married. Fred was always nice and easy to work with even though we were in different departments, he was in hardware and I was in housewares.You and your family have my deepest sympathy.Barbara Bachman
We were shocked and saddened to hear of Fred’s passing. I spent many years with him and his sisters as we grew up with our church family at Christ Lutheran Church in Chicago and Lane Tech High school. He stood up to our wedding. Our lives took separate paths, but he has always had a place is our heart. Our thoughts and prayers with Pam and family.
