So sorry to hear about Garnet's passing. We'll miss her too.
I was so sad to read of your mother's death. Both of your parents were always so special to me. I thought of them (you kids too) as MY family & not just in-laws. I have many happy memories of Sunday dinners at your home – eating your mother's delicious cooking & having your Dad make me laugh. I thoroughly enjoyed watching you kids grow up. Please know that all of you are in my thoughts & prayers. Love,Linda (Gaitros) Duncan
I remember Garnet being a good cook, and always cooked large amounts, and was always very generous with it. We were good friends with Edgecombes and spent alot of time at their house. Whenever we visited them and there was extra food we knew that Garnet had been there and shared with her neighbors. I also remember her working at the restaurant, whenever she was having a bad day, she would be a little short with you. (you knew not to mess with her on those days) but most of the time she was happy and glad to see you! I will miss her, especially at our Bunco table!
