Our sympathy and prayers go to Kay and the family. Jerry was an excellent police officer, great leader and fine person. I enjoyed working with Jerry on 3rd shift as one of his sergeants. Many great memories of a fantastic man.

I extend my deepest sympathies to Gerry's family. I always admired Gerry for being a conscientious and dedicated police officer and he taught me so very much about the job and investigation when I worked under him. He was a good man. I only wish I had known he was ill so that I could have spent some time with him before he passed. I intended to go to the Memorial Service but I was called into a meeting here at work that was not scheduled and which I had to attend. Regardless, I have been and will continue to pray for the repose of his soul in heaven.Mark Barthelemy

My deepest sympathy to Kay and the rest of Jerry's family. I was shocked to hear of Jerry's passing yesterday. I worked with and around Gerry for several years.
