Hello Gary I am sorry to hear of your dad's passing. Jack Hershfelt left me a voicemail message for us last week but we were on vacation and just heard it. I know we talked about your dad's health last June at Jimmy Ryan's, but I've forgotten our conversation. Passing away peacefully is always a blessing, but I am sure that you will miss him. I didn't know he was born in Harristown, which is where we lived until coming to Decatur in second grade. I always respected your dad as a good sports fan, a great umpire and a knowledeable yet quiet supporter of all the teams we were on together. Best wishes, Gary (the other Gary H.)
