To the Children of Jack and Francis, I was so sorry to here about the recent passing of both your Father and Mother; Jack and Francis. Your Dad and my Mom worked together for years at the electronics shop that was across the street from Sears (what is now the Library). I moved away from Decatur in 1973, and now live in Denver, Co. We went back to Decatur each year while our parents were both still living, but haven't been back for several years. I remember what a joker your dad was, and how cute your Mom was with putting up with him. I always tried to stop in and say hello when the had the Fix-it-shop. My Mother was Dorothy Herron, and I think you and I share the same birthday Doug..June 30, 1950. I remember the Bar-b-Ques at the house. Great fun..your folks were very welcoming. MacArthur high is having their 50th reunion this year. So when I go back, I'll stop and visit them for awhile..just for old time sake. Stay strong, time helps soften your heart.
