My name is Penny Newberry and Jim and I started out journey together in kindergarten. We had a childhood crush on each other, at nap time we always put our mats under the sandbox together and often got scolded for talking. One day we were gonna smooch and we got caught and got a swat on the butt…lol. Neither Thumper or I ever forgot that. WE had a great friendship all though high school and after.. Jim , yes I will always love you dear and you will be missed. BUT you are in heaven with our LORD and I know you are happy and free…see you there, hold the door open for me just in case! Knew him as Larry at the Lovington High School. I was the library aide at the time. Also,knew his Mother growing up…his great grandmother Anna Jeffers lived across the street from us. I remember Larry as a good, kind young man…always very pleasant. His life was much too short…holding good thoughts for all family members. Joy Anderson Colclasure Florence, AZ.
