James "Thumper" Coslow's Obituary
James L. 'Thumper' Coslow, 51 of Lovington, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, December 22, 2012 in his brother's home in Arthur.
Services to celebrate Thumper's life will be held at 8 pm Thursday, December 27, 2012 in the Lovington First Church of God in Lovington. Visitation will be held from 6 until service time at the church. Interment for the immediate family will be in Camfield Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family. Thumper was born on January 28, 1961 in Decatur a son of Aletha M. (Jeffers) and James W. Coslow. He graduated from Lovington High School. He previously worked hauling livestock, for Mechling Backhoe Service, for the Village of Lovington and Horizon Home Center. He most recently had worked for Effingham Equity. Thumper was a member of the Lovington Sons of the American Legion Squadron #429. His hobbies were wood working and he loved collecting toy tractor and had a large collection.
Surviving are his brother- Eric Coslow and his wife Cindy of Arthur, father-James W. Coslow of Bell, FL, nephews- Eric James Coslow and Justin Shearer and his wife Ariana, niece- Shannon Benton, great nieces and nephews- Quadyn, Logen, Maryah, Aubrey, Zayden and Skye, Aunts- Cathy Miller (Larry Conlin) of Sullivan, Lee Jeffers of Mattoon and Thelma Watson of Decatur, and special cousin- Dennis Coslow and wife Beth and their son Quad.
Thumper was greeted in Heaven by his Mom.
