I know how much you loved your car shows and mud slinging trucks. I remember back in the late 80's driving from Florida to Mt Zion to visit you. I had just married my first wife Sharon and wanted to show her off to you. We met up with you at one of the mud slinging tracks and Sharon was wearing a white tee shirt and white shorts. It had been raining and we were walking through the mud puddles trying to find you. I spotted you in the bleachers and as we were walking up to you, this truck slid around the corner of the track and showered her from head to toe in mud. I knew I was in trouble, but with your cool, calm way you pulled out a towel and wiped the mud out of her face and welcomed her into the family. You have always been such an inspiration to me. My Dad passed away when I was 15. You and Dad could have been twin brothers in my eyes. Not only did you look alike, but you acted alike as well. Always joking around and never letting anything get you down. (cont)
