Jan was such a gentle spirit and a giving one at that! Our cocoa cola night in her extra apartment was a highlight for all of us just seeing how she LOVED to collect it all. She was loved by many. I am so sorry to hear of Janetâ??s passing. When Mom (Evelyn Halford) was at Fair Havens we were so comforted that Janet cared for her for a time. I remember talking to Janet one morning and her sharing how she would go in and talk to Aunt Evelyn. That memory will be with us always. One day I was able to bring her a picture taken before we were born of a Christmas gathering with the cousins. She was so happy to get it.
