To the family of Jerry Thornton:We were very sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. May God bring you comfort and peace in your loss.
Josh, Stacey and families,We are sorry for the loss of your loving father. Monte, Rick, and Greg,We mourn with you the loss of your boisterous brother. In Jerry, we enjoyed a steadfast, compassionate, humble friend for years without fail. His presence was always uplifting, even when he was not uplifted himself. To us, Jerry was the definition of a true friend, a high bar that most of us don't quite make. If friendship were a sport, I guess Jerry would be the MVP. We were thrilled that Jerry loved the island as much as we do. His antics, recipes, picture-taking, bird feeding, silliness in the sand, and awed appreciation of nature's beauty were joys to share by the host of friends that gathered there. His infectious smile will be ever present in our minds and hearts.
Rick and family my sincere condolences of Jerrys passing.John & Ruth Harmison
