To know John was pure joy. He was consistent and always showed up as his most authentic self. Being kind and patient, in a world where many of us struggle to be, came effortless to John. He was one hundred percent selfless in all he did, always putting others first... I cant put into words how much we all.
miss you John. We love you so much and it hasn't been the same since you. left... John was the brightest light. His personality was magnetic and people just gravitated towards him. You could always count on good conversation filled with facts as he pretty much knew everything about everything. His smile was infectious, and he never met a stranger, always warm and welcoming to anyone who wanted to sit with him. John's presence was the best company. We enjoyed him so much at the Garden. He was our friend, more like family. John was also our protector, closing the place with us most nights, making sure us girls got out safe, being the last to pull out of the parking lot. I could really go on and on. My heart is broken, but the blessing of having crossed paths with such an amazing individual would forever leave its mark on us all. I'd give anything to hear one more joke, do a little more trivia, listen to another story, and let's not forget the candy you always had for us. John was the best... Rest easy dear friend. You are so loved, so missed, and please watch over us until we meet again. May God bless anyone who reads this and may your heart feel a little better if just for the moment.
