John David Patrick's Obituary
After a long bout with Type 2 Diabetes and Sepsis, John passed away peacefully Friday at 3:15 P.M. on 10-03-2025.
John David Patrick was born on June 25, 1967, in Terre Haute, IN, the son of Burton Bley Patrick and Jan Noble (Hachat) Patrick.
John served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Gulf War and Operation Desert Storm. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Decatur, IL. John was a gun collector and enjoyed shooting guns at the range. He also liked computers and enjoyed playing video games with his friends.
He is survived by his brother: Michael Patrick of Oak Brook, IL; cousin: Karolyn Wells Rich and husband James of Frankfort, IL; and friend Jake Walters of Moweaqua, IL, and his family Kima and Jakab.
A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday (10-13-2025) at Fairlawn Cemetery, Decatur, IL.
