He was a great Christian friend, business owner, and example for others.
I remember the days he would sit with Jan (my first wife of 45 years) and me to chat and always sharing his kindness. He even bought Jan's Mothers' day meal once.

Jose picked up the tab one Christmas Eve for my wife and two daughters, we frequented his restaurant, that was very thoughtful, and I never forgot that, he also complimented me on my lawn, he was a neighbor, condolences to the family.
