Jose Hilario Hernandez-Arredondo, age 38, was called home to Jesus August 10,2020.
Jose was born May 19, 1982 in San Luiz De La Paz, GTO, Mexico to Hilario and Hortencia Hernandez.
He was united in marriage to Yuliana Luna on June 8, 2007 they made their home in Decatur.
Jose was a workaholic however he made sure to find time for hiking and road trips on the country roads of Illinois. A loving and devoted father to his children, whom he was unable to tell no, and the time he spent with them was cherished. He was a giving and generous person to all who met him.
Left to Cherish his memory are his wife Yuliana; children Jose Hilario Hernandez Jr., and Alessandra Isabel Hernandez Decatur, IL ; parents; Hilario and Hortencia Hernandez; Decatur, IL ;siblings, Marco A. Hernandez (Lizabeth)Decatur, IL, Maria H. Hernandez (Francisco) Decatur, IL, Elizabeth Hernandez, Decatur, IL Maricela Hernandez, Decatur, IL Eduardo Hernandez, Decatur, IL.; many nieces and nephews and his dog Teddy.
Memorial are preferred to National Suicide Prevention Lifeline
A Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 14, 2020 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. - 10 a.m. before the service at the church. Inurnment will be at Graceland Cemetery at a later date.
