To Judy's family,My sister Joyce Logue worked with Judy many years at Heartland Nursing home which was Manor care etc.Americana. I Marilyn Mears worked with Judy at Lincoln Manor. I also belly danced with Judy at our shows at the civic center, incidentally she was a good dancer. She will be missed by alot of people. OUR CONDOLENCES… Marilyn Mears & Joyce Logue.
I had the pleasure of working with Judy as a very impressionable young nurses aide, way back in the late 70's. She trained, NO taught me how to care for the elderly while working at Americana Health Care. She was one of many mentors in my healthcare career. Judy never met a stranger, always having time to teach the younger generations about caring for people no matter how difficult they could be. I lost touch with so many of those who "molded" me into the nurse I am today (35 years later), but know your mother & grandmother touched many, many lives. Judy will remain alive in your hearts as you reminisce her memory,and she will always be with you as your family's guardian angel watching over her family every day! Your families are in my thoughts & prayers as you go through this difficult time.
I'm so happy that I was able to meet Judy, and spend time with her during visits to NJ. My mother had so many wonderful stories about her from her childhood. She came into that home and brought light to a dark place, and cared for six children like they were her own showing them love and kindness. She will always have a special place in my heart because of the way she touched my mother's life. I am so greatful that she spent those years with them as their step mother. She was an amazing woman, and she just made you so happy when you spent time with her. There aren't many people in this world with such a kind heart. She will be deeply missed.
